Dear Reader,

Spring is here! This year one of my Spring Cleaning projects is focused internally. In my ongoing quest to maintain a healthy weight, I want to continue to cleanse my body of toxins. In my Weight Loss to Wellness article, I introduce the Biochemistry of Weight Loss, and discuss the importance of eliminating toxins from our bodies if we want to achieve or maintain a healthy weight. I'll be conducting my second Weight Loss to Wellness retreat May 18 – 25, and am looking forward to more of the amazing results and fabulous experiences that the participants at our first retreat reported. Listen to the feedback from the retreat.

Another spring-related topic is that of seasonal allergies. If you suffer from allergies, or you know someone who does, you’ll want to read about easy and healthy things you can do to minimize or eliminate seasonal allergic responses.

This month I’ll be opening for the Phoenix Juice Plus+® conference on April 22nd, find out how to attend by clicking here.

I will also be giving some live cooking demonstrations, and I'll show you how to cook a tasty, nutritious meal that will help you shed pounds and nourish your body. I will be in Calgary, Canada this Friday and Redwood City, California next Friday and in my home, north of Seattle, on Thursday, April 15. Click here for more details on my live cooking demonstrations. At these events, I will also present a preview of The Anatomy of Weight. Click here to learn more about this retreat.

Finally, I’m very excited to share with you one of my all-time favorite foods that my friend Mike makes: Purely Peppers Crimson Hot Red Pepper Paste. I use it on everything from sandwiches, to salads, to rice and vegetable dishes. It is truly a food that I couldn’t do without. And fabulously enough, it turns out that hot peppers are an impressive health boon. Recent scientific literature has suggested that consumption of hot peppers successfully inhibits several lines of human cancer cells including lung, breast, colon, prostate, and skin cancer. Hot peppers have also been shown to build cardiovascular health. Finally, the pepper paste stimulates your pituitary gland and suppresses appetite, thus benefiting weight loss goals.

Lastly, our long awaited and much requested facial kit, containing the products and processes described in Do You Have the Guts to Be Beautiful?, is finally available. Click here to read more and order your facial kit.

Here’s to your health,

Natural Beauty Facial Kit

The natural, edible facial from Do You Have the Guts to Be Beautiful? is here!

Did you know that your face absorbs material just as if you had eaten it? This means that if you wouldn’t use your moisturizer as an ingredient in a dish you would serve to your family, then you shouldn’t put it on your face.

Welcome to the edible facial!
